What is PFMS?

Public Financial Management System (PFMS) was previously named CPSMS which was started in 2008-2009. PFMS offers multiple scholarship schemes to aspiring students of the Nation. The aim is to provide financial aid to aspiring students. If you want to apply for any of the PFMS scholarship schemes, you need to be eligible for it. Different scholarship schemes have different eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria for all the scholarship schemes are mentioned below. You can check if you are eligible for the particular scholarship scheme for which you are planning to apply.

How to register for Scholarship schemes

First, check if you are eligible for the particular scheme you want to apply for. Simply follow the step by step registration process given below to apply for any scholarship program.

  • First, visit the official portal of the Public Financial Management System 
  • At the bottom, you will find the option ” PFMS Scholarship Student Registration ” click on it
  • Select the scholarship scheme you want to go for.
  • You will be required to fill further details according to the scheme you have selected. You will have to fill the year of passing the required class and the educational board.
  • Then you will have to provide the financial details like your bank account number and IFSC code for branch verification.
  • Now fill some of your personal details like mobile number and email id etc. Once you have filled all these details create your user id and password so that you can access your account to keep a track.
  • Login to your account and upload the scanned files for required documents and submit your application.

Documents required for PFMS scholarship registration

Students applying for the scholarship scheme will be required to upload some documents. Make sure to keep these documents handy while filling the application form.

  • Scanned copy of a passport-sized photo of the applicant or candidate
  • The PDF file of the candidate’s mark sheet of the required class
  • Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature
  • The PDF file of the premium receipt

Public Financial Management System Know your payment status

To check the status of your scholarship payment just follow the step by step process given below. You can check your payment status in two ways

Payment status check by Adhar Number

  • Enter your Adhar number as required.
  • Just click on the search button and after your Adhar number is validated with the records, your payment status will be displayed

Payment status check by Account number

  • Visit the official portal from the link given above.
  • Select your bank names like Andhra bank, Canara bank or whichever bank account you registered with and fill in your account number.
  • Click on search and after validation of your account number, your payment status will be displayed
